HOW TO MAKE POSTS AND PAGES ON ย WORDPRESS
1. Open the Post Editor
2. Add Content and Media
- Title: Click in the box at the very top that says “Add title” to type a catchy, SEO-friendly name for your post.
- Body: Click directly below the title to start writing your text.
- Blocks: Click the blue “+” icon (Block Inserter) in the top left corner to add different content types, such as images, lists, headings, or embedded videos.

3. Organize Your Post
On the right-hand side of the editor, look for the Post tab to set your organizational settings before publishing: [1]

- Categories: Group your post into a broad topic (e.g., “Recipes” or “Updates”).
- Tags: Add specific keywords to help readers find your post.
- Featured Image: Select an image from your media library to display at the top of your post and when shared on social media.
- Excerpt: Write a quick, 2-to-3 sentence summary of your post. [1, 2, 3]
4. Review and Publish
- Preview: Click the Preview button at the top right to see how the post looks on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
- Save Draft: If you arenโt ready to publish just yet, click Save Draft.
- Publish: When you are ready to make it go live, click the Publish button in the top right corner. (You can also change the “Publish immediately” setting if you want to schedule it for a future date.
